wolfriverjoe 1,523 #1 November 19, 2016 Haven't seen this on here yet. Mike Pence went to the Broadway show "Hamilton" Friday night. At the end, during the curtain call, Brandon Dixon, the actor playing Aaron Burr addressed him. After pointing Pence out, the audience started to 'boo', but Dixon stopped them. Part of what he said: Quote“We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and work on behalf of all of us. All of us. Again, we truly thank you truly for (sharing) this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds and orientations.” And, of course, Trump goes on Twitter and accuses them of being rude and harassing Pence, and demanded an apology. Go figure. Washington Post story"There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Which fact specifically is wrong? What you post is correct, but it is not in conflict with the OP. Facts: The crowd booed Pence (probably many times). The cast publicly addressed Pence politely, and called for the booing to stop. Trump publicly rebuked the cast for being rude. Which fact did OP get wrong? Had Trump accused the crowd of being rude, he'd have a point. His accusation was toward the cast though. Seems he is the one mixing up his facts.www.WingsuitPhotos.com

skycop 0 #9 November 20, 2016 The "diverse and inclusive" crowd, singling out someone for potentially disagreeing with them. Don't you find that a bit ironic? It's simply classless and disrespectful. Had the tables been turned, and someone singled out a "liberal" for their political position/views in such a public venue, the media hate machine would have been in full motion. What the guy said was factually flawed, and made blanket assumptions. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

He was not singled out for who he is, or the his religion. He was singled out for what he has said and done. It definitely is rude though. He is someone in a position of power who is seen to be trying hard to impose his personal views on how others conduct their sex lives. He is working hard to marginalize and suppress people over it. The small amount of embarrassment and discomfort he had to put up with pales in comparison to the pain he is trying to inflict on others.Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. wolfriverjoe 1,523 #13 November 20, 2016 skycop What the guy said was factually flawed, and made blanket assumptions. What was flawed about it? A lot of people are very afraid that the Trump/Pence "vision for America" is one where the only people who have full rights are white, Christian men. Based on the statements and actions of both of them, that isn't an unreasonable fear. Based on the actions of some people out in the rest of the country, it seems to be coming true."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." These are the kind of fears people have of the Trump/Pence administration.
