Now that he has realized he's not going to win, he's stopped contributing to his own campaign. At one point he promised to contribute at least $100 million of his own money, but in October he contributed $0 in money and only $31,000 of rent and salaries to the campaign (i.e. he let the campaign use his offices and some of his staff.)

I think he sees the writing on the wall.

Meanwhile his campaign director is begging republicans to support him:
