I didn't realize that a lynch mob is the direct result of someone's mind being made up that an individual is guilty, regardless of the findings of due process. It sounds to me - by how I read into what was written - that the pastor is already convicted in Paul's mind. Not at all. Often someone will come forward with information after they see their attacker on TV saying something. Often feelings they have buried for years surface when they realize their attacker is still around, free to attack other people.

He's talking about if the the guy goes to jail - going to jail meaning he's convicted. Typically when one is arrested, they are placed in a holding cell or "drunk tank" and await processing into the general county jail population. In jail, word of your rap sheet tends to get around pretty quickly. Men in the tank that have been accused of molestation -or even kidnapping- have been known to be beaten half to death or even killed. If you're lucky enough to make it to gen pop, you'll most likely face a similar fate before you post bail or make it to your day in court. In the very least, you'll be forced to eat and sleep on the ground like a dog - unless of course they take your food away as well - along with any dignity that you may have left. You will be ridiculed night and day - they will pass gas in your face as they walk by and maybe even shit on your head - don't even bother going to the shower, brah. Many men falsely accused have been subject to this humiliation by those that share the same mindset as quade. It's interesting that when it's a pastor accused of molestation, "there's a special place in hell for those types" - but when it's done as a result of prostitution, "meh, it's a woman's right - shit happens - legalize it anyway!"Never was there an answer....not without listening, without seeing - Gilmour
