turtlespeed 226 #4 July 25, 2016 kallend ***DNC Chair - Banned from speaking at THE DNC convention. What was it that was posted about trump writer? Falling on a sword? In this case it does seem that she did it. Well, That was fast - Now she is the honorary chair of Hillary whole campaign. I'd be wondering if Hillary had this all planned, with the exception of getting caught. But - hey - the system ain't rigged is it? Those are some really honorable actions by an honorable person. So, we already know she will cheat during the primaries. Then she'll protect her accomplices. Ain't it grand?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
ryoder 1,590 #5 July 25, 2016 If Clinton could just set aside her ego, and do what's best for the country, she would end her campaign now and let Sanders take the nomination. In this case it does seem that she did it. I bet deep down, you honestly believe Hillary had no knowledge of this, and had nothing to do with it.I have written previously about the absurdity of the nominating process. I fail to see why non party members can either vote or run under the party ticket. The GOP has given us Trump, whom the mainstream Republicans loathe. And Sanders isn't even a Dem. He's an Independent. Why should the party he doesn't belong to defer to him in any way?... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. He changed from Independent to Democrat last year. Now, if you mean philosophically; I get that. His own web site still states that he is "independent". He only associated himself with the Dems in order to get on the ballot as a Dem. Had I been in charge of the DNC I too would have given preference to a longtime member and supporter of the party rather than a Johnny-come-lately who only joined for his own convenience.... But, as we previously noted, he’s still calling himself an independent in some cases, so it’s unclear how committed Sanders is to any label. muff528 3 #15 July 25, 2016 Bernie's run served two very important purposes for the Dems. They should pay him and his donors for his services to them: First - He kept Hillary in the news during the entire pre-convention election season. If not for Sanders, there would be absolutely nothing to report about Clinton's campaign during the months the Republican races were taking place. He gave the media an opportunity to periodically herald Hillary's tough fought victories. With nothing to report, the public might have completely forgotten that there was even another candidate in the running. Second - Sanders unknowingly served as an expendable trial balloon for a possible future assault on the Presidency by the extreme left wing of The Party. That data is even now being interpreted and analyzed. I think his candidacy was allowed to progress by the DNC for both reasons.

Same can be said for Trump, and fairly for the Tea Party members as well. Bernie won the primaries in 22 states - the eligible voters didn't have a problem with his history for party affiliation. Between the undemocratic Super delegates and this leaked interference by the Party leadership, the Burners have a right to be pissed. The same youth demographic that supported him were a key part of Obama's surge to take the nomination and then the White House.

rushmc 23 #22 July 25, 2016 Man, they had to do something so First they say Putin is working to help Trump (they ignore the emails) Now we know, because of the emails, that many of the (very few) protestors at the RNC convention were bought and paid for (not grass roots and the compliant media likes to say) The media and the DNC conspired against Sanders (like no on knew that already) Hillary says she did not know anything about that and know Juliann Assange says he will release emails that show she did! And this leaks story is just getting started!!! The news reported today that the protestor numbers today outnumber the total number of protestors at the Republican convention, FOR THE WHOLE WEEK!!!!! The Sanders supporters will not let the ex chairwoman even speakAnd the dems are trying to say the Republicans are in caos???? Really Uhhhhh Ok. kelpdiver 2 #25 July 25, 2016 BIGUN Well... Except Trump changed from Democrat to Republican after becoming "enlightened." He could be a Democrat, a Republican, a RINO, a fool, or all 4 at the same time, depending on which personality is active. I was a bit surprised reading the Wikileaks is starting a series on HC. Is this because they have a vendetta against her, perhaps for the actions of the Administration against them? Assaunge certainly believes the Swedes have been acting as American stooges in their BS rape charge against him. A love for Sanders? Or is it merely about releasing any truths they come across? Or simpler mischief - like the guys threatening to take down Pokemon on Aug 1st, for no reason other than to fuck with a few million users? There's of course no need to hack Trump's infrastructure - the man has no filter to start with. We do know that it would be easy to break in and get any secrets, as shown by his acceptance speech.
