ryoder 1,590 #77 May 9, 2016 jakee Personally I think the only real repercussion of this victory (vs if he was a normal white guy) is that now whenever the tube drivers go on strike, or congestion charges go up or a new fucked up bike lane gets built, Londoners can shake their fists at the sky and shout Khaaaaaaaaan! wolfriverjoe 1,523 #78 May 9, 2016 From the article: QuoteIn an interview yesterday he savaged Mr Corbyn for obsessing over Left-wing causes while ignoring swathes of the electorate. In a sign of a growing rift between the two, London’s new mayor also revealed he had not met his party leader since being elected on Friday. Mr Khan said Labour needed to ‘stop talking about ourselves and start talking to citizens about the issues that matter to them’ and accused Mr Corbyn and his allies of focusing on internal party issues instead of winning back voters. Actually paying attention to the voters? Not playing "party politics"? Scandalous."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." Stumpy 284 #79 May 9, 2016 The London Mayor often seems to stand somewhat 'apart' from party politics - its wearing two hats sort of a thing.Never try to eat more than you can lift

Bear in mind that since it's the Daily (hate)Mail the article has a pretty serious slant to it, and that first paragraph is basically just a lie. What I found most amusing was that today they said this: "Sadiq Khan comfortably defeated Tory rival Zac Goldsmith in the mayoral elections last week after a bitter battle during which he was repeatedly accused of having links to extremists. A series of senior Tory figures and even Mr Goldsmith's sister Jemima have criticised the way the campaign was conducted."... Whereas 3 weeks ago they were saying this: With friends like this, is Sadiq Khan fit to run London? Wankers.Do you want to have an ideagasm?
