I wonder how much mismanagement was involved . . .

And then I wonder how much those evil CEOs were making and actually WHY they are going bankrupt with subsidies from the govt?

I miss the MIS degrees.

I see what you did there:)
Seriously though - how mismanaged do you have to be when you have an income coming from the government in the way of subsidies and investors that you go belly up?

Time will tell I guess, like it did with:

American Airlines
General Motors
Chrysler
CIT Group
Pacific Gas & Electricity
Peabody Energy
etc.
etc.
etc.

Enron . . .

Yeah - but - I doubt I'll see anywhere the outrage from the left about how they were over paid and negligent. You'll see more of the "they tried" and "it's a necessary loss" and "we'll just have to help them some more."

I didn't see anything but ire against the coal companies that are going out of business. I guess if you give jobs to people and the left doesn't like what you produce - you're fucked as far as media backup, and vice versa if they like what your produce.

It doesn't matter what actually happens or happened. You have already made up your mind about what it all means and how it fits into your world.

Coal companies don't "give jobs to people". They produce coal to sell at a profit for their owners. Jobs are just an expense to keep as low as possible. Just like safety standards. The fewer the better.

Not at all. Help him get a better job. (Well, you can fuck him if that's your thing . . .)

What's a "reliable energy company?" Like a hydroelectric worker?

Don't forget those kids who got their first jobs shoveling horse manure in Manhattan in the 1890's (and of course dragging horse carcasses out of the road.) Won't someone please think of the children?

Yep, that's the way conservatism works. When coal seams dry up entire towns and communities can be plunged into poverty. Right wing response to all the unemployed miners? Dole taking freeloaders, fuck 'em!
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

No, conservatives tell them all to move to Williston, ND where the
oil boom jobs are. Until the bust, then it's fuck the freeloaders!
