“If any man and woman, not being married to each other, lewdly and lasciviously associate and cohabit together ... they shall be guilty of a second degree misdemeanor,” the former law stated.

Damn! When they put it like that, it sounded like a hell of a lot of fun!:);)

I interpret that as meaning only gay sex is legal if you are unmarried.
Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.

Hi Robert,

When they put it like that, it sounded like a hell of a lot of fun!

From your link: 'The measure passed unanimously in the Senate but drew five “no” votes in the House, all from Republicans, including Rep. Jennifer Sullivan of Mount Dora, the youngest member of the Legislature at 24.'

Once again the R's don't want people having fun.

Nothing new there,

Now remember FloriDUH also recently passed a religious "protection" law, otherwise know as legal discrimination law...sooo....
"So folks living in sin and not married would be in conflict with my dad gum religious views, so I'm not able to serve you dinner here tonight folks. Move along."

So much hatred. I don't understand.

You do though. It's just the placement of the hatred that you seem to not understand.
