At least with adultery and masturbation there seems to be elements of guilt and embarrassment respectively - people tend to be ashamed, especially when caught. They don't boast about getting divorced, nor do they have masturbation pride parades. People have all kinds of negative opinions/judgements about various sexual practices - especially those that tend to be more embarrassing and unusual in nature. Why should homosexuality be treated any differently?
