So as predicted the more restrictive you make it the more likely it is to resort to the "back-alley" days. But now you don't need the proverbial coat-hanger, you can just order the abortion pills online. How is this "helping women's health", the mantra the right likes to chant when they pass these restrictions? Oh that's right, it has nothing to do with women's health. They just don't have the balls to come right out and say it. One thing about the study I didn't like was their methodology. Asking if they suspected someone they know tried to self-induce doesn't seem all that scientific to me.“That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.”

Maybe not, but that wasn't the origin of the 100,000 number (self-induced admitted), just an attempt at estimating the real number.

I know this will come as a shock to some, but it's incredibly difficult to get people to admit to self induced or illegal abortions in the south. Come on now.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
