LOL

I thought Obama care was meant to help the poor!!!!

With the next round of cost increases of OBAMA CARE not even the middle class with be able to afford it

But then, this is as planned
Destroy the private sector with OC and then push single payer

It matches up pretty well with this map of states that did not enact medicaid expansion.

Yes it does. States with GOP controlled governments which disadvantaged their own poor simply in order to spite Obama.

Can we scrap this and go single payer already.

We're voting on it next year here in Colorado. I haven't read too much about it yet, but my "ObamaCare" premiums keep going up for a terrible plan. I can barely afford my premium, let alone going to a doctor. I think it's hilariously sad that having to pay my premium keeps me from being able to see a doctor.

Why is something that was explained, re explained, screamed about, fought against, disputed, and proven as a lie, sad? It's what the country wanted, right?

(Cheesy Bat Man Line) It's just the health care hero this country needs right now.:S

I fought against it as much as I could reasonably do.

We that were against it told what would happen.

Now people are starting to believe it just after there was any point of return.

I wonder how much it was that, AND/or the imposed cost. I know here it would have added 1.7 billion eventually to Louisiana tax payers.

Can we scrap this and go single payer already.

And how much do you think it costs your local gubmints when the poor... with no preventative health care show up in ER's across the region when they are far sicker with greater and more expensive life saving procedures needed????:S:S:S

You want to save money there skippy?

Shoot all the middlemen in the insurance companies getting rich off of other peoples suffering.

Implement Medicare across the board.... with a basic level of preventative health care for all Citizens as a basic right. If you can afford to buy better supplemental care with your local hospital.... then do so... and let them form networks from there.

>I thought Obama care was meant to help the poor!

Yep. And it has - outside of red states where local politicians are trying to destroy it.

=========
And many of the people who lack insurance in states with a lot of uninsured people are effectively unable to benefit from Obamacare programs because of their low incomes and local politicians’ decisions to forgo Medicaid expansion.. . Medicaid expansion continues to be a huge predictor of how many people remain uninsured in a given state.

It is undeniable, however, that the law has had a substantial effect. Compare this year’s map, where dark purple regions represent areas where the uninsured rate remains above 16 percent, with the map from 2013, when nearly the whole country looked purple. Medicaid expansion is being considered in a few more states. Montana has decided to move forward next year. (Alaska started its expansion in September.)
==========

So want to help the poor? Support medicaid expansion. Want to fuck them over? Continue to oppose it.

> It was never designed to work

Fortunately for most Americans - and unfortunately for you - it is indeed working. US uninsureds are at their lowest level ever recorded.

Romney said that his plan wasn't designed to work? I guess he's changed his tune.

But in any case, I will go with reality over what a politician says. You can, of course, blindly swallow what politicians say if you choose.

People are getting insured because they are held at gunpoint and have to pay huge fines some want to but cant because they cant afford the plans the government is forcing on them. My wife has spent the last 6 months trying to do whatever she can with a social workers help to find an affordable plan for her parents which are both in her 70's both diabetics, and one is a double amputee with no kidney output and on dialysis 3 times a week. The plans are out of their price range and she is a retired(fired) insurance salesman and he retired from a chemical company as an engineer. She was on a private plan through her company until the recently fired her for poor job performance(I think she is getting dementia or Alzheimers myself) Now shes trying to get obamacare.

And how would they have fared before 2010?

So, why is it working in European countries?

Your above remark just shows you don't know shit about how it's supposed to work.

Health insurance is a basic institution in modern developed countries. But, not in the US. Unbelievable .... >:(

So you think they are the same??
