Say goodbye to Jared Fogle, Subway pitchman!

Recommended Posts

What a bunch of shit - nice catch. . .

Sad thing is that it was actually believable.

Figures, the one time I let my emotions get the best of me as of late and it's all a bunch of bullshit - lesson learned:

-Never trust Normiss links

-Never trust local news cites or those that appear to be. (which I've always considered rather reliable)

ETA - What a sick fucking joke.

I apologize, I didn't verify.
It came up in one of my news feeds and it didn't look to be click bait-ish.

>:(

For the record, I didn't think to Snopes it until after it was already pointed out that it was fake. It seemed reasonable enough (as a news story, not as Department of Corrections policy).

***************Did he actually abuse kids? Or was he only guilty of wanting to?

Oh, there's more to it than that. How about you tell me?

Because I asked the question. Your text above would lend to you knowing a great deal about the circumstances.

So does your question.

So, in your logic, asking a question leads you to believe that I know the answer to something that has made you speechless with anger, you don't know the answer, so you really shouldn't be upset because you don't know the story.

I never said anything about what he actually did - you were the one that brought it up - so, obviously you have knowledge about it and are trying to play your stupid little games again.

turtlespeed

you don't know the answer, so you really shouldn't be upset because you don't know the story.

You're the one that brought up abusing children, as if the child pornography wasn't atrocious enough.:S

But if you want to defend this guy, that's on you.

I'm just tired of playing your games. You hardly ever reciprocate the effort of those that reply to you - and then when they call you out on your bullshit you either runaway or start rambling on about something else - just like Amazon used to do.

I'm just not really interested in entertaining your lazy posts anymore.

You might want to go re read the thread.

I asked a question, and you replied that there "was more too it". What more is there? I didn't research the story. I didn't care to. I simply asked a question.

But since you compare me to Amazon, yeah - I see what she means you getting all butt hurt over nothing.:S

Just because you are paranoid, it doesn't mean they aren't watching you.

The child pornography. Is that not atrocious enough regardless of whether or not he physically abused any children?

turtlespeed

I didn't research the story. I didn't care to. I simply asked a question.

Then were did you get the information about him abusing children, or wanting to abuse children? Because you certainly didn't get it from me.

In the Syrian refugee thread you made a claim about the IRS, but said you didn't feel like taking the time to google it, and then told jcd to google it himself if he wanted to.

This is the laziness that I was talking about - so how about you take your own advice and do you own damn research, because I'm not inclined whatsoever to do it for you.

It's how conversations work.

You ousted that you were unbelievably upset about the fake article.

I asked you if you had a piece of information, and that it may not be the best idea to get all upset about something without having all the information.

It's just another turn signal that he's starting to twist his perspective, discussion, and direction.
Into unintelligible counter "arguments".

Nope - it was still a harmless question. I believed the article to begin with.

Did he abuse kids or did he just want to?

Simple question.

No strings.

No alterior motives.

I didn't find out the article was bunk until later.

If only there was a magical, almost internet way of finding the answers you seek...

I just asked a question that I didn't know the answer to. Have you ever done that?

I just asked a question that I didn't know the answer to.

As I said, take your own advice:

turtlespeed:
"Do your own homework. Research reasearch reasearch. You can find it"

turtlespeed:
"do some research - you can find it if you take off your blinders. That is all the time I have to devote to doing your own homework"

He's right you know. You are being pretty hypocritical right now.

Everyone here has been at one point or another -

The assumption of alternate agenda is kinda spooky - like - faraday cage and a big tin foil hat - spooky.:|

Nah, it's more like reasonable suspicion. . .

Your assumptions were still wrong.

So very wrong.

As usual.

Excuse me if I felt your question was a tad bit peculiar and didn't feel obliged to humor your indolence.

To recap:

I basically said how about you just tell us what you know about the situation. YOU were the one that assumed I didn't know the answer to your question and said that my anger wasn't justified because of that, which - let's face - was the reason you replied to me in the first place, otherwise you could've just asked anybody else in the thread that explicitly stated he physically abused children - which I did not.

If you didn't know what was going on about the story as you claimed, then a normal person would've said "wow Corey, you seem really pissed off - wtf did Jared Fogle do?"

...but instead you ask whether he actually physically abused children, or just wanted to?

Again, it's just an odd question coming from someone that claimed not to know anything about the situation - especially given that this is an older discussion in which you've participated in the past.

It's like this - let's say you live next door to a detective and there was a murder - the details of which weren't released to the press yet. Let's say that he comes home and tells you that he's just really pissed off and disgusted about the gruesome murder of your friend Bill down the street, to which you reply, "wow, that's terrible, I had no idea - was his head still intact, or did it fall off yet?"

It would lead him to believe that you know more about it than you are letting on. . .

that's a fuckload of supposition for a guy that was so angry, but yet didn't know the facts.

It was still an innocent question. I assumed you knew the answer since you were so angry and had to know why you were angry.

Even with all that - You had a FUCK load of supposition going toward me, let alone Jared . . . Since you really didn't actually have all the information . . .

Didn't you?

Does your knee hurt?
