I asked him if he had all the facts you replied with

Well we at least know that the citizen did not die.... when the officer had his gun on him.... if he would twitched at that moment I guess he could have used the "I feared for my life" like so many seem to be doing

How you got there is surprising.

I'm actually more secure in my perspective of the ever present blue line in every incident.
You guys have got to stop defending the bad ones.
It's making you all look bad.

Somewhat disappointing that you think I'm the only one with this view.

I'm pointing out there could be (and usually is) more to the story.

Yawn............
If there wasn't more to it, and the officer got pissed off and acted that way, he should be out of a job.
BUT, you or I have no idea what led up to this. I've been in enough messed up situations to withhold judgment unless I have ALL information.

In your judgement, at what point in the video was the situation de-escalated enough to turn your back on the subject?

I got there from you already having a verdict on what went down without having but a fraction of the facts.

Show me where I defended him.

Knee jerk reactions are like the jade helm thread, you come off looking stupid if the facts don't EVENTUALLY come out in your favor.

A tactical mistake

Oh, so now you do understand the point. Took you long enough.

But now I wonder, when the cop was asked what he was doing there with his weapon drawn and he answered 'you film me I film you' what kind of mistake was that? Tactical? Syntactical?
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Until you can also say honestly that you think there might be more to the story on the non-cop's part, it's a partisan view.

Acknowledging the actual complexity of only one side of a transaction is painting it with your own colors, just as much as automatically painting a side as being guilty.

Propaganda Statistics - listed in his source citatiions.

Those numbers are voluntarily given to the FBI by police and many jurisdictions simply don’t hand over this information. Making an accurate accounting of exactly how many people police have actually killed each year is extremely difficult to ascertain. For instance, the killing of Eric Garner would not be included in the FBI’s 2014 statistics because New York doesn’t participate in the voluntary program.

Here's the issue the police have ( ~35% increase each year of killings by cops):

Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Not directed at you bigun, but I would like to hear every one just as PASSIONATE the next time an innocent police officer is killed while giving some one a traffic ticket, or ambushed in their vehicle while doing paperwork etc. Just because they chose a dangerous job doesnt mean its right or that it should be excepted by the public any less than a bad cop shooting an unarmed citizen. They are doing a job and also deserve to return home to their families as much as the citizen but nobody looses their shit when a cop is killed. And there are just as many cases of cops being killed through out history.

The Families of cops who are shot are usually awarded with quite a bit of justice.
What is the usual outcome for anyone who shoots a cop??????

The families of unarmed civilians shot by cops are usually not accorded the same level of "justice"

There are millions upon millions of police contacts yearly, many under very difficult circumstances, a very, very small percentage end on controversy. Those are facts.
The video cites it's sources, just because you don't like the stats, doesn't mean they are wrong, inaccurate, or propaganda.
It gives a good perspective to the misinformation reported as fact by the 24 hour news cycle.
I've had this discussion ad-nauseam............

And those controversies are increasing. Also a fact. There were 385 police killings in the US by June 1 2015 - about twice the average rate over the past decade. In New York City, three police officers have been accused of raping kids. That's in 2015 alone, in one city - and the year's not over.

So explain why police killings in the USA are so far out of line with police killings in other western democracies.

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/jun/09/the-counted-police-killings-us-vs-other-countries

Are there more Americans that "just need killin'"?

The same reason police shoot more people here than Police do in other countries. The people they are dealing with.

Protecting and serving is then long dead like so many citizens.... yet the words remain on so many departments cruisers and buildings.... as what a warning that they will do anything to protect their jobs and serving themselves?????
