Pssswtah. Anyone can swim. As far as I'm concerned it was another surfing day for them. I mean, the idea is to not have to get wet, and they did. Funny joke eh?I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

Pssswtah. Anyone can swim. As far as I'm concerned it was another surfing day for them. I mean, the idea is to not have to get wet, and they did. Funny joke eh? Impressiveness of the swim really depends on how rough the surf was. The swim portion of an Iron Man is 4,224 yards, after which you'd still have to bike 112 miles and run 26.2 miles. Dick Hoyt does it while pulling his adult son in a dinghy.... This to me is impressive: https://youtu.be/dDnrLv6z-mM Not to deminish the feat of the rescue swimmer, but unless the surf was huge, I would guess he himself would rate the swim as pretty easy. He could have gone the extra 10 and made it a full mile.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.
