cvfd1399 0 #26 May 23, 2015 That's why I said it's sad that there are households that are having to play catch up on this. Let me add to clarify that is sad that it diddnt get done, or got done wrong in this era... The older generations took care of this and did it properly. Remember the ww2 generation that grew up hunting and shooting and were already marksmen when they enlisted. Compare that to the kids that enlist now and can't hit the broad side of a barn. That's what I was getting at Wendy it used to be taken care of at home and done properly, they diddnt need a "school".

jclalor 12 #29 May 23, 2015 South San Jose, July 4th, 1978. My new .22 rifle was burning a hole in my closet, I realllllly wanted to shoot it for the first time. So I stole a diet Dr Peppper from my sister, tossed it out my bedroom window, line up the crosshairs in the middle of the can and squeezed. The first thing I noticed was my stomach hurt, there was lots of smoke and the can of soda was intact. I'm no crime scene reconstructionist, but the best I could figure is that the barrle was sitting in my window seal wth the scope looking over the top. I still have the scar. Proper training would have alleviated that. Good thing it wasn't a red rider BB gun, you'd have put your eye out.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
