Class warfare is in season here at the Dork Zone. PS: I don't think I will ever get to drive the "new" 911. But I am told it is one of the most incredible cars ever made. Of course if you really want to experience what the new "911" can do, you need to have above average race track driving skills and of course you need to drive the "new" 911 on a race track. That is so Biased of you. Everyone should be equal and be able to drive this necessary form of transportation. Not allowing the underprivileged, or financially challenged peoples of this country is heinous, cruel, and unusual punishment for their lot in life! Yeah, I am reminded of a Car and Driver road test of a Benz (500 SEL?), where the author started out saying that people don't dislike Mercedes Benzes. they dislike the people who drive Mercedes Benzes. He concluded that, while the world would be a better place without the majority of Mercedes Benz owners, he had to admit that it was a very well executed automobile. I should say that I like DRIVING Ferraris, but know better than to own one. It is important, after wringing one out for an afternoon, to be able to bring it back full of high test, without a scratch on it, and hand the keys back. At that point it is Someone Else's Problem. If someone hands me the keys of a Ferrari and says that it behaves peculiarly as it approaches red line in fifth gear, I am willing to investigate and offer my opinion. And give it back.
