Nasaspaceflight.com is pretty well respected from what I can tell. The Author seems to have decent credentials that stand up to a cursory google search. I wouldn't immediately dismiss it as enquirer or tmz material.
lawrocket 3 #5 May 1, 2015 I'm quite fascinated with this. And I think it's really really neat that these discussions are happening in the open with input from anyone. Yeah, that's why I am said "weary" and I didn't say that it has to be dismissed as bullshit right away, but as I said, it's not blatant bullshit but the sources are not "rock solid" either, you know. Still, of course I am interested in the hopeful developments. :)I'm standing on the edge With a vision in my head My body screams release me My dreams they must be fed... You're in flight. GeorgiaDon 380 #8 May 1, 2015 DanGMy money is on the thrust being test set-up related. I guess that makes me a Space Denier.Well I guess we do have the example of cold fusion that seemed to work sometimes, but that turned out to be an artifact due to a contaminant in the system (as I recall). Still it would be excellent if this result were to hold up. I suppose it's better to be a skeptic who is pleasantly surprised, or even just has their skepticism validated, than to be an optimist who regularly has their hopes crushed. Since thrust was detected on the control portion that was designed to not work. My wife is hotter than your wife.

It's a weird thing when a basic law of physics has an exception. I seriously doubt that momentum conservation will be shown to be violated. Guest #14 May 5, 2015 SkyDekkerClearly the science isn't settled. http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2015/04/evaluating-nasas-futuristic-em-drive/ Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof, especially in science. In other words, don't blow sunshine up my a**, show me the proof and let it withstand peer review. mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."
