masterblaster72 0 #1 March 1, 2015 The perpetually bumped Benghazi thread finally convinced me and got me thinking: being that Obama is a devil-worshipping Muslim and shadow architect of ISIS, a black supremacist with bloodlust for freedom-loving white Christian folks who love their guns/freedom/America/GOD, is butt-buddies with Ahmadinejad and wants to destroy western civilization by mandating health care and vetoing the Keystone Pipeline -- what's to stop him from pressing the button before he's through with his presidency and moves back to Saudi Arabia where he was born in the first place?! What can we do about this, and what have we gotten into?! This is a serious situation, and I'm surprised no one has brought it up sooner. Wake up people!!! lawrocket 3 #4 March 1, 2015 Just thinking that we are in a repeat of 2006. What is nice to look at is perspective. In 2006, it was Bush's fault that he was hated so much. At least that's what the Democrats and even the swing voters said. His personality, conflicts he created. He had the bully pulpit and used it to divide. Remember? Now many of those same people that hated Bush and blamed him for it think that Obama has really no responsibility for how he is perceived. Remember when the President had the House and. Filibuster proof Senate? Harry Reid changed Senate Rules to further empower the Democrats. The President went along with and encouraged highly partisan bickering from his position of power. And now look what the American people thought of the President without checks and balances. And yet for some reason the people who blamed Bush for how he was regarded don't blame Obama. (I saw some GOP stalwarts who didn't blame Bush but most were at least honest that he played a big role in his perception). Obama has played the politics of division as well as anyone. The GOP obliged. Whether then GOP started it or not is irrelevant in my mind. Much like whether Bush started it. Or whether Clinton started it. Obama dug his own hole because not only does he seem to relish playing petty games and acting like its legitimate (take a look at video of his spokesman and the White House press actually laughing at the suggestion that there hasn't been enough time to review Keystone.
