Compare the damage (which was definitely there) and deaths and injuries (which were pretty much nonexistent) with real civil unrest and protests (think Iran, Ukraine, Egypt, ect). There were dozens of deaths during those protests. Most were by the government, which incensed the protesters and increased the "revolutionary fervor." And the protests were directed at the governments themselves, not at the police policies. Even during the worst of the Ferguson protests, or the ones in New York, or all the ones across the country in support of Ferguson and New York, I didn't hear calls for anything other than accountability by the police and for justice for the victims. I don't recall hearing any calls for the overall government to be taken down (local, state or federal government). But I could be wrong.
