kallend 2,175 #1 December 18, 2014 a judge in S. Carolina has exonerated a 14 year old boy who was executed by the state. 70 years late. NOT better late than never when the death penalty is involved. BIGUN 1,503 #2 December 18, 2014 I know, right? Almost as horrific as them northern states 70 years ago with New York being at the top of the list with 1,130 executions compared with Illinois' 348 up until 1976. http://www.deathpenaltyinfo.org/state_by_state I'm thinking no State is squeaky clean in this historical discussion.Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard. However it does allow to comment that China has a far worse human rights record than Cuba, yet the right is currently having a conniption about giving similar diplomatic status to Cuba as we give to China. The difference, of course, is that corporate America makes $billions from trade with China.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. JerryBaumchen 1,471 #12 December 20, 2014 Hi turtle, QuoteI'm sure you are over looking the fact that China holds most of our debt. While I ( at this moment ) cannot give you a cite, I have read many times that China holds less than 10% of our debt. The vast majority of 'our' debt is held by us. Gov't bonds anyone?
