AndyBoyd 0 #151 December 19, 2014 QuoteI have retired from the sport. You don't have to actually jump. Just go to a DZ, find 5 or 10 guys, and tell them, to their faces, the things you said in your earlier post about today's skydivers being "meterosexuals" and "homosexuals." wolfriverjoe 1,523 #155 December 19, 2014 RonD1120Do you think they would be ashamed to admit it and angered if they were? No. The ones that are would be willing to admit it and accept it. Fortunately most jumpers I know are very accepting of different people and different lifestyles. For the most part, if you have what it takes to gear up and go out the door, you are welcome on the DZ. However, someone who shows up and accuses everyone on the DZ of being a liberal, homosexual or metrosexual (do you really know what that word means?) wouldn't be welcomed. Judgemental types generally aren't welcomed much of anywhere outside their own tribe."There are NO situations which do not call for a French Maid outfit." AndyBoyd 0 #161 December 20, 2014 RonD1120Do you think they would be ashamed to admit it and angered if they were? I don't know. Why don't you find out? Every time I ask this question you bob and weave like Muhammad Ali. The fact is, you insulted every male skydiver out there with that thoughtless comment. And you did it from the safety of your home, with no one around. That's flat out gutless. Chickenshit. I'll say it again. Go to any DZ you like. Pick one. Find 5 or 10 of the toughest guys out there, and call them metrosexuals and homosexuals, to their faces. Let me know how it goes. If you don't have the balls to do that, then knock it off on this website.
turtlespeed 226 #162 December 20, 2014 wmw999 There is nothing wrong with that plan for marriage when both are reasonable people who respect and value each other. The problem comes when a misogynistic man uses Christianity as the reason for demanding subservience from his wife. He's wrong, but people outside the community don't see that it's a deviation, only that he used Christianity as the rationale. Not everyone respects their spouse. Wendy P. RonD1120 62 #163 December 20, 2014 The feed back on the SC is that it is admirable to be metrosexual or homosexual. Why do you take such offense? OK... so to show that skydivers are all metro/homosexuals you would go to a DZ, avoid all the 'normal' people, find someone who looks gay, ask them if they're gay, and therefore conclude that all skydivers are gay? He mentioned *understanding body language*: Very sensitive fields! You can educate yourself on that easily in the internet. I think, Ron S. is an internet nerd!
