piisfish 140 #1 November 26, 2014 Sad that a person died, but come on... Leaving guns (moreover LOADED) at catching distance by a 3yr old is jut plain Darwinism. http://www.fox23.com/news/news/local/police-say-3-year-old-shot-mom-own-gun/njFSy/#__federated=1 ***Tulsa police say a woman accidentally shot by her 3-year-old son in east Tulsa has died. CanuckInUSA 0 #2 November 27, 2014 Darwinism? Agreed ... I don't have a problem with people having loaded guns in the home. But keep them out of the reach of little children who don't know any better. If we need to keep harmful household chemicals away from the little ones, it only makes senses to keep loaded firearms away from them. Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

RonD1120 62 #6 November 27, 2014 Do we know what his feelings were regarding his relationship with his mother? Maybe she didn't feed him immediately when he was hungry. Maybe she was not timely when wiping his butt. What was the average length of time between his initial cries and her response. All these, and more, factors determine a person's behavior pattern. Let's not forget his DNA. He may have just been born to kill and can't help it. Withdrawing my tongue from my cheek, just have a very Happy Thanksgiving with you family. Look for the shiny things of God revealed by the Holy Spirit. They only last for an instant but it is a Holy Instant. Let your soul absorb them. champu 1 #8 November 28, 2014 Definitely a tragic story that I'm sorry to hear. Hope everyone here has and/or has had a very nice thanksgiving. I've spent the past week in a house with a three year old, a one year old, and a dozen guns or so (and other people and things.) I even helped my dad mount a scope on a new rifle in his shop. We keep the firearms secured away from children and, lo and behold, no issues.
jimjumper 25 #9 November 28, 2014 If the toddler fired a "double-tap" it would certainly indicate some firearms training!
