As usual, lies and bullshit... Privacy advocates and libertarians would have loved to support the bill, until the jackasses decided that was the perfect place to hide their Patriot Act extension.

I still maintain that we need a constitutional amendment requiring that all bills be restricted to one topic (and apparently in this case, we would also need to specify one SIDE of one topic) AND must cite specifically the section of the Constitution that authorizes that bill.

They all cite "interstate ccommerce" as the justification. Because the SCOTUS has decided that everything affects interstate commerce. Even doing nothing could affect interstate commerce.

But remember that the Framers were inspired by God. Clearly God wants it this way.
