I don't remember seeing anything in the media about this incident when it happened. Then again its been a while.

It's gone to civil trial now. I think it's interesting that it was a black cop that ran over the black suspect that was trying to flee on foot. Maybe that was accidental, maybe not. That's for the jury to decide.

Now, if it HAD been a white cop running over the black suspect, how do you think the media and public would have reacted?

I didn't notice a whole lot of nosedive on the car as it headed over the victim (it didn't appear that he braked).

Seems to me I saw something similar to this a couple of years back but with a white cop running over a black victim. Perhaps it's a new firearm round austerity program.
