rushmc 23 #1 October 23, 2014 Hey billvon This is a fun one QuoteA new poll from Pew Research breaks down conservatism and leftism in the media – and comes up with a number of interesting results. As it turns out, leftists are far less tolerant that conservatives and implicitly trust government sources. The poll itself is composed of 16 percent consistent leftists, 22 percent who identify as mostly leftists, 36 percent mixed, 17 percent mostly conservative, and 9 percent consistently conservative. The gap between left and right here – 38 percent to 26 percent – is not justified by party registration in the United States, for which the latest Gallup polls show a 30-26 Democratic advantage. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2014/10/21/media-poll"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." quade 4 #2 October 23, 2014 Rush, did you take a look at the actual poll data and analysis by Pew or simply rely on Brietbart's interpretation of it? I'm curious because once again, it seems as if you've fallen victim of a bit of Breitbart bizarro-world interpretation and brainwashing. Here's the actual report; http://www.journalism.org/2014/10/21/political-polarization-media-habits/ The most damning statistic revolves around one and only news source the vast majority of far right conservatives get their new from; Fox News. Fox News has been consistently proven to be one of the worst news sources and their viewers are over-all the least informed in any sort of "balanced" way.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

jclalor 12 #4 October 23, 2014 The most that I could get out of it was, that those who identify as being from the left, have more sources of information than those claiming to be from the right. Your continual citing of Breitbart seems to be very much inline with this study. I guess It must have been a very slow day on info wars.

BIGUN 1,486 #8 October 23, 2014 Wow. 75% of your affiliation distrust the Rush Limbaugh Show. How un-American!!! He's the Burning Bush of all things republican and sheds light on all the evils of you left wing radicals. Just ask him. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Thank you Thank you This thread was inspired by your pre-emptive strike regarding polls (and me) in another thread This one just seemed appropriate given those circumstances "America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
