I think that most Democrats have been disappointed when it comes to 44's foreign policy and domestic surveillance. That being said, the left is disappointed only because 44 has swung too far to the right to appease the unappeasable. Anyway you slice it, 44's worst year in office has been a million times better than 43's best year.

normiss 905 #11 August 13, 2014 Or here Maybe my maths are off a tad, but I get: 1,710 for Obama, 630 for Bush in Afghanistan. 73% died under Obama. Iraq actual conflict/battle was essentially over when Obama took over, so Bush clearly won that one. Care to tally civilian casualties during each administration? Bush stopped giving a shit about Afghanistan about mid 2002... just like he quit giving a shit about Bin Laden.... not enough oil profit in either one. Amazon 7 #15 August 13, 2014 normiss Well if you're not going to read my reply, I'm just wasting finger motions. I did.. did you??? Also of note.. are the suicides of those who served that can't deal.. get no help... and are the used and thrown away weapons of war. My generation had many thousands who died in the Nam.. and did not realize it for years afterward. This generation will bear this same burden and they will be dying for decades to come. Dubya can't even compare on number of drone strikes: - Bush: 51 - Obama: 330+ (passed 330 in Jan 2014).
