jgoose71 0 #1 July 20, 2014 The Obama Administration seems to be having yet another problem. This one is courtesy of Eric Holder's DOJ: http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/volokh-conspiracy/wp/2014/05/24/operation-choke-point/ I'm sure that there are some Marxists out there that think this is perfectly acceptable."There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. GD64 1 #2 July 20, 2014 IMO holder is one walking scandal. Probably goes back to clintons import business in AR, were he was the rumored "bag man." He has been successful at covering the current ruling cabal's rear. Yeah, he may be one of the most corrupt AG's this country has ever seen, cherry picking who and what laws he cares to enforce. No one will, or can touch him. He will be rewarded with $200,000 speaking engagements and will be sitting on corporate boards with 7 figure salaries for his loyalty to the rulers. Choke Point has been going on for awhile, so just hope you are not in one of the businesses targeted by "eric the red." Oh, issa investigations......a complete joke. Not one change. Just going through the motions so the propagandist (media) can try to convince the peons they really aren't propagandist. I think most USA citizens are truly blind to the ruling elites "dee cee scam." There really is only one solution.
StreetScooby 5 #3 July 20, 2014 I have moved beyond shock to genuine fright with these people. It's clear they are going to be balls out in the last two years in office "implementing their agenda", independent of the restrictions imposed by our Constitutional government. I work in the financial industry, at the dealer level. For years now, every employee (whether client facing or not) must take internal training/tests regarding client onboarding and money laundering. These tests are a big deal, and are taken very seriously by management because they are required to by federal regulators. In addition, Dodd-Frank rules have yet to be implemented, and I expect they are simply going to kill this industry. Trading volumes have already decreased to low levels, and are expected to stay that way for the foreseeable future. Don't be surprised when cash is removed from our society, and other western democracies. Be prepared to the best of your ability should that day arrive. And, be sure and send me an email saying how you did it We are all engines of karma

jgoose71 0 #5 July 20, 2014 GD64 Choke Point has been going on for awhile, so just hope you are not in one of the businesses targeted by "eric the red." You are correct on this point. I remember Bank of America saying that it was no longer going to work with gun dealers and a few other stories where banks seem to take a political "liberal" leaning. It all makes sense now. Hopefully someone targets Eric Holder (with a lawsuit or criminal charges... before someone gets their panties in a wad....) So who investigates the DOJ? Congress is obviously incapable..."There is an art, it says, or, rather, a knack to flying. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss." Do a little research and you'll see BOA denies that quite plainly. Quote GD64 say's DanG......McMillan Group International, purveyor's of very finely crafted firearms were told in 2012 that BOA would no longer be their banker.
 DanG 1 #12 July 21, 2014 From snopes (which you'll dismiss as leftist): Quote We contacted Bank of America for a response, and spokeswoman Anne Pace told us that while she could not comment on the bank's relationship with McMillan Group, she could tell us that Bank of America "has no policies that would prohibit us from doing business with clients in [the firearms] industry": While we cannot discuss the details of any individual client we work with, we can assure you the allegations being made here are completely false. Bank of America does not have a policy that prohibits us from banking clients in this industry. In fact, we have numerous, longstanding customers in the industry. The truth from the "horses mouth".....Kelly McMillan, is explained on their companies web site. He landed on his feet after BOA's shenanigans, and created a whole new additional company to serve the firearms industry "McMillan Merchant Solutions". A great solution., https//www.mcmillanusa.com/mcmillan-merchant In this case you are defending your political ideology and over looking the truth based on ".......she could not comment on banks relationship with McMillan Group....."? I choose to believe the business owner whose products are top shelf, rather than BOA polices that probably stem from the department of injustice pressure. DanG, there are other companies in the firearms business that have gone through this as well. However, I am more familiar with this company.
 DanG 1 #14 July 21, 2014 Could McMillan have a business motive for portraying itself as the victim of the anti-gun Obama DOJ? I'm not saying they are lying, but the only evidence they have came from a secret meeting that the other side (BoA) disputes. This is a classic he said, she said. Your side implies there is a secret government program trying to put the gun industry out of business. My side implies that the gun industry is riding the Obama paranoia to record profits.
