They wanted solar plants and we gave them a few. Now because a few birds are getting fried the have shut down other approved solar projects. I'd love to shut off the lights for awhile and see what they say then.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. I was thinking spray paint. The NFL does it, so it should be good enough for the average joe. lisa WSCR 594 FB 1023 CBDB

I continue to wait for someone in that group to write a book along the lines of "Living in Trees for Dummies". I think it would be a best seller. I for one would buy it, and read it. Then, I'd fully advocate they lead by example, beginning with the author and their supporting cast. Show us how its done, please. We are all engines of karma

Didn't a bunch of screw-balls do that at U.C Berkley a few years back? Flung there pooh at passers by and all? Their resolve wouldn't have lasted near as long as it did if they had been on a college campus located somewhere else in the country that had a real winter. Anyway, I agree with the OP. I'd love to shut the electric off and take away the flush toilets on some of these enviro-nazis and see how long their resolve lasts.

The second or third last time we had a nasty drought with really low water levels was back in the late 80s-early 90s. Yes, even when CO2 was under 400 ppm, we had nasty droughts. When I started at UCSB, they people were actually spray painting their lawns. I think it was 1993 when it made news that Lake Cachuma was filled after something like 5 dry years. Spray painting lawns is not unprecedented here. Except maybe each property owner needs to do an EIR prior to every application of paint. My wife is hotter than your wife. They have to make sure you don't hurt a turtle or a dime sized flower or a bird or an ancient artifact or on and on and on. Must use state approved paint too at 50$ a gallon.I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all.
