There is no controversy over private medical insurance paid for by employers covering recreational drugs for men. Is this something you have heard of? To the best of my knowledge there are no government regulations that require private insurance companies to pay for recreational drugs for men. There ARE government regulations that require private insurance companies to pay for prescriptions for drugs that help women deal with various medical issues, including pregnancy prevention. If you have the common sense to step back and ask yourself why there is a need for such regulations, it is extremely obvious. There is a certain part of the population that believes women are inferior, and should be subservient to the men around them. They should be kept barefoot and pregnant and home. Women are to be treated as too stupid to make rational decisions about their lives. These biblical beliefs have no place in modern society. In another thread, Ron makes vile assumptions about my female relatives because I defend their rights to make their own decisions about their medical care. This clear display of "Christian" Conservative attitudes about women is vile, but not surprising. Any intelligent, independent woman is a serious threat to "Christian" male dominion over women.
