jgoose71 0 #28 July 4, 2014 ibxQuoteBut if it came down to a punk teenager pulling off an armed robbery or my 5 year old son, the choice is easy. How is that even comparable? If somebody threatens your son with a gun I think you may have a point. If you are in store thats being held up I would think the best for your son would be to not get involved. Agreed. If I am unarmed, I can only hope that after he gets through robbing and shooting the clerk, he doesn't turn his attention to the "witnesses." Coreece 190 #29 July 4, 2014 Amazon ***My question is are they asking or telling. Guess we gotta wait and see if they put the firearm free stickers on the door. Also is this for open carry(stupid carry IMO) or concealed also. I am not really an open carry advocate.. why go out of your way to antagonize the idiots and scare the poor fuckers who are already afraid of their own shadows..Right, the idea is that you must conceal your personal lifestyle in order to protect your freedoms that others may find offensive. I went with my younger cousin to his hunter safety course...they spent hours on the importance of limiting your exposure. They taught that you should change out of your camo and into normal clothing when asking other land owners to track our kill on their property. They taught about concealing your kill while in transit. All of this was about not offending people who could threaten our sport. Yet, it amazes me that the same people who teach these classes are the same hunters who feel the need to have competitions and hang their deer right alongside of the road in a parking lot of the grocery store sponsoring the contest. It's almost as bad (stupid) as parading homosexuality....you're just asking for trouble.Your secrets are the true reflection of who you really are... Anvilbrother 0 #31 July 4, 2014 For a little more fun at the PC crowd, look at the NAACP trying to ger murders out of jail using the race card! QuoteAppeals Following the defendants' receipt of death sentences, the NAACP campaigned to commute Pierre and Andrews' death sentences.[14] The NAACP demanded that Pierre and Andrews' death sentences should be revoked because they had been unfairly convicted since they were both black, and the victims and jury were all white. Andrews was also quick to accuse the judicial system of racism following the NAACP's request for reduced sentences. In an interview with USA Today, he claimed that he had never intended to kill anyone. This was later rebutted when detectives cited a statement by Andrews in which he admitted being the one to purchase the drain cleaner and bring it to the store on the night of the killings.[15] Despite motions by the NAACP and Amnesty International, both death sentences were ultimately upheld.[16] The Deseret News reports that Dale Selby Pierre said, to no one in particular, moments before his execution: "I'll be glad when this is over."[12] When asked if he had any final words, he responded, "Thank you. I'm just going to say my prayers."[13] Postes r made from an iPad or iPhone. Spelling and gramhair mistakes guaranteed move along,

Think they have been robbed?http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/07/02/waitresses-pack-heat-at-colorado-burger-joint/ The question really is do they have the mindset..... to actually use those weapons. A lot of "trained" CCW and LEO find themselves with out the mindset and when the adrenaline starts messing with them and that tiny little Animal brain takes over.... they freeze. Standing at the range in a static position killing paper is one of the worst ways to train.. it builds muscle memory in all the wrong ways. While you are correct that no one knows how they will react on a two-way shooting range until they find them selves on one, That is not the real question. Anyone who has taken a self defence class or spent over a minute in the military will tell you that portraying yourself as a hard target it the key to deterring an attack. Not quite sure a sign that says "gun free zone" will do that. On the other hand, I'm pretty sure a sign that says "all of our staff is armed and trained" no matter what the level of training is, or if they are even armes for that matter, might make a criminal think twice. Bad guys love soft targets.... If you think Target made this decisions while being worried about armed robbery, you are deluding yourself. This decision was made fully with their target customer in mind. They don't want to see armed people in the store. It really is as simple as that. I am not really an open carry advocate.. why go out of your way to antagonize the idiots and scare the poor fuckers who are already afraid of their own shadows..Sounds like they are asking the Open Carry Agitators to stop. Very similar to what happened with Starbucks. It sounds like Target isn't going to "Post Prohibited", but they want the fools who are (figuratively) shoving their "Right to Bear Arms" in everyone's face. The "sheep" have been convinced that guns are bad, so when they see a gun, they panic. And Target doesn't want panicked customers, they want happy people who spend money. The guys that were mostly responsible for concealed carry becoming law in both Wisconsin and Minnesota have the phrase "don't scare the women or the horses." IOW, don't be blatant about having a gun, which tends to panic the sheep. I'm all in favor of the 2nd amendment and a fairly active and proficient shooter. But the people who open carry simply to make a statement are (figuratively) shooting themselves in the foot by these displays. Especially when they do it on private property, like in a retail establishment. Doing it in public tends to attract the attention of the cops, but doesn't put store owners in the tough spot of deciding to choose which customers (pro- or anti-gun) to lean towards.
