1) This would have nothing to do with the actual Common Core standards. You should probably read them.

2) It's tough to check out whether this article is fact or fiction due to the horrible attribution in the article. Lerner Publications has a couple of books on Barrack Obama and it's difficult to know exactly which one this article is talking about.
