normiss 871 #53 June 10, 2014 Well, there is this: (CNN) -- Here is a list of incidents of random elementary, middle and high school (excludes colleges and universities) violence with fatalities, from 1927 to the present. This list does NOT include suicides, gang related incidents, or deaths resulting from interpersonal conflicts. 2000 to 2014 – 23 instances of school shootings 1900 to 1999 – 24 instances of school shootings 1980 to 1989 – 12 instances of school shootings 1970 to 1979 – 5 instances of school shootings 1960 to 1969 – 2 instances of school shootings 1950 to 1959 – 1 instance of school shootings 1940 to 1949 – 0 instances of school shootings 1930 to 1939 - 0 instances of school shootings 1920 to 1929 - 1 instance of school shootings I think it's just getting more face time. But is clearly increasing. We really should address the mental health problem we have in this country. The loonies clearly need to be labeled as such so as to not buy weapons of any kind. mpohl 1 #54 June 10, 2014 Just a personal story. When I was a young 30 yr old, fighter, martial arts. Had this 15-yr old kid. Challenging me every which way when sparring. In the locker he showed off his gun. A 15-year old!. That was in, maybe, 1992. Next day, we learned that he killed himself cleaning it! Right thru the head. A 15-year old! What a loss!! normissWell, there is this: (CNN) -- Here is a list of incidents of random elementary, middle and high school (excludes colleges and universities) violence with fatalities, from 1927 to the present. mpohl 1 #57 June 10, 2014 Boomer, just like me. You and I didn't graduate in the top 10% of our class. But hear me out; http://www.fascismusa.com Read thru out. Line by line. Looking forward to hearing from you, bro'. BoomerdogTo recap... Two whacked out nut jobs kill two police officers and a bystander leaving behind swastikas and a Gadsden Flag before committing suicide. Swastikas, the symbol of National Socialism i.e. Nazis i.e. Fascists. I believe one of the operative words here is "socialism" and I'm sure you'll probably disagree but Fascism and Communism having the common denominator of Socialism are two different sides of the same "coin of the Left" so to speak. Although the presence of the Gadsden Flag does puzzle me a bit. Bottom Line...they're not "right wing." Whatever they are, they have no place on my side of the line. So much so, that if your were to transport a person from pre-9/11 to today. They wouldn't recognize the place. . Of all the Paranoia you spoke of it seemed to me from the start no one has more than yourself. So much troubling things in your posts. Scary stuff. BTW. I really have a hard time believing that many gun cleaning accidents are really from gun cleaning. When I hear a cop did it I feel very strongly it was a cover for suicide for benefits. This kid? If he even existed? Probaly showed it to a friend who shot him and covered it up. Sure there may be an AD(accidental discharge) here and there from careless people but how in the hell to you kill yourself by mistake cleaning a gun? Clean it with one in the chamber? What? The barrel is one of the more important things to clean and you don't have it open? BS. I call bullshit on 99% of "gun cleaning" fatalities. You need to have a cartridge in the chamber, point it at a your head or chest and pull the trigger. First thing you would do is clear the gun. Before anything else. Even when I know my gun is empty I do not point it at myself and pull the trigger. Something just I could not do even though I knew it would be safe. Not saying it doesn't happen but mostly I belive these to be cover ups. But if you said it, it must be true. Just because your paranoid doesn't mean it didn't happen. That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

Amazon 7 #64 June 11, 2014 Boomerdog When all else fails, deal the race card. You dealt that one from the bottom of the deck. Your true colors are shining through. Trust me on this... after growing up with such wonderful extended family and their blue dog white supremacists.... who called me a n@#$# lover because I went to a Christian school that had 25% African American students who were part of our congregation... I can spot a racist and a bigot in a heartbeat. I call bigots as I see em because silence only breeds more ignorance spouting from their pie holes.... and the right wing has a whole lot of em. What is quite evident to so many people is we see posters on Facebook and here...who really believe they are not died in the wool racists.. but you know... when they waddle and quack so loudly like racist cock suckers.... I guess you think they are swans and not what they truly are. The two white supremacists in Las Vegas.... are right where they belong...
DanG 1 #65 June 11, 2014 Ya, you need to learn the Communism and Socialism aren't the same thing. It's also too bad you can't go back in time and tell the fighters in the Spanish Civil War that they were both fighting for the same thing. - Dan G

DanG 1 #68 June 11, 2014 Fascism (e.g. Nazis) is to the far right of the traditional political right/left spectrum. Communism (true Communism, not really practiced anywhere on a large scale) is to the far left of the traditional political right/left spectrum. Capitalism and Socialism are not anywhere on the right/left spectrum, because they are economic systems, not political. And a easy rule of thumb, if a country feels the need to put a descriptor in their name (People's Republic of China) it's unlikely that their system has anything to do with that descriptor. - Dan G

Thank you for helping the NRA turn America into a country filled with guns and people prepared to use them out of the fears you've encouraged for political and personal gain. Thank you Republican Party for allowing these people to drive your anti-government agenda. Thank you for repeatedly giving them aid and political cover. As ye sow, so shall ye reap." So, who enabeled the Gabby Gifford shooter? You know, the left wing nut who shot her? Your short sighted comment is sad at best It's interesting that one of the best arguments I've heard in favor of concealed weapons is from this very story, yet I've heard nobody, including you, mention it. The civilian killed in the Wallmart had pulled out his own weapon and was approaching the male shooter when the shooters wife shot and killed him. This distraction may have been enough to save lives. This is from eyewitness accounts, one of them being the friend of the deceased who was there. I really hate having to help you argue your case.
