I'm disappointed Obama didn't shut down Gitmo, that he continued Stellar Wind, that we've kept so many troops in Afghanistan and A few other things. Am I glad he's the President instead of Romney? Absolutely. Will I admit that he's far from the "Anointed One"? All day long. Almost every issue that both parties have taken exception with the president on have been when he's gone to the right on an issue, as mentioned above. Do I have any doubt that you would support what ever is necessary to take of our vets? Not one. I just think at times you find it very difficult to stray from the GOP script. I am not angry that he was elected.. I am very displeased at some of the things he has done. He has not accomplished as much as he needed to for this country because of a level of obstructionism never seen before from those who were elected to govern and have shirked that responsibility. I am not surprised at the level of stupidity that the GOP has exhibited towards the first president with readily evident African American heritage. That is on them... and I would lay you odds that a hell of a lot of the good ole boys you vote for have some not as evident Sub Saharan African in their DNA makeup. Your scenario is bullshit - rarely is it clear that the mugger is about to fire, and rarely is is certain that our NRA man has a good shot to take. The CCW doesn't not compel him to take the shot and if he hit the wrong guy, it would not protect him from charges. His life wasn't in danger. In the perfect scenario, he gets to sneak up on the mugger and shoot him point blank. But in more likely situations, he'd probably be doing both of us more good by drawing from a covered position and call out.
