I'm not putting anyone down. I'm simply saying the relationship is probably tenuous at best.

As a nurse and havering seen first hand the problem of diverted narcotics and addiction that is a major problem in the fieldd of nursing. We need to know who can be trusted with narcotics and can not be.

I quit many years ago, but in some states, smoking can actually be cited as the reason for termination. Smokers are seen as less productive than non-smokers, because they don't need to take breaks as frequently.

New York was definitely one of those places. We had a problem employee that made sure he did the bare minimum to not get fired for performance reasons. He smoked, so my boss fired him and used that as the reason. Kind of made me perk up and pay attention to labor laws a lot more.

Think for yourself. Question authority.
