jclalor 12 #1 May 10, 2014 It seem a higher number of blacks are hired when there is drug testing as opposed to when there is none. http://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2014/05/is-drug-testing-boosting-employment-for-african-americans/361885/

turtlespeed 226 #3 May 11, 2014 Iago ***see . . .every time an article comes out giving the world a view of something that the black man is doing better . . . someone has to jump in and put him down again. I'm not putting anyone down. I'm simply saying the relationship is probably tenuous at best. Decades ago they investigated ice cream as a cause of childhood polio. Kids eat more ice cream in the summer, polio goes up in the summer. Coincidence or relationship? There are no coincidences . . . It was a jape . . . sorry - I should have inserted a smiley.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

As a nurse and havering seen first hand the problem of diverted narcotics and addiction that is a major problem in the fieldd of nursing. We need to know who can be trusted with narcotics and can not be.

BlueSkiesDad 0 #8 May 15, 2014 I quit many years ago, but in some states, smoking can actually be cited as the reason for termination. Smokers are seen as less productive than non-smokers, because they don't need to take breaks as frequently. New York was definitely one of those places. We had a problem employee that made sure he did the bare minimum to not get fired for performance reasons. He smoked, so my boss fired him and used that as the reason. Kind of made me perk up and pay attention to labor laws a lot more.Think for yourself. Question authority.
