At this point, its about 5 Trillion more than whatever it would have been, and climbing. Right.. all based on the Bush Tax cuts.... and the unpaid for wars. I guess the view from under the sand on TRICKLE on economics is different in those red states that what most of America is experiencing.

Bush and Cheney and the rest of the PNAC boys in the Administration only saw one thing... and that was oil... I said that in 2003 and a bunch of those who participated are now coming clean and telling the truth finally. They started planning the Excellent Adventure in Iraq back in the 1990'sI'm just wondering at what point you'll get around to blaming the people actually responsible for this decision, instead of blaming what Bush did 10 years ago... If you're gonna spend a trillion dollars, and sacrifice the lives of thousands of Americans, you better try and figure out what the long term implications of invading a middle eastern country are goings to be. Greeted as liberators and the Iraqi oil will pay all of our war cost is what we were promised by Bush/Cheney, unbelievable. Gosh, no one can stick to the subject of child molestation. So everything that's wrong with Iraq is Bush's fault. It was the garden of Eden before Bush's invasion. Everything was just perfect. If not for the invasion, Iraq today would be a shining beacon of prosperity and human rights. Got it.

Any US foriegn policy decision made in the Middle East should always involve the lesser of multiple evils. If I'm given the choice of a fundamentalist government or a secular government in the Middle East, I'll take the secular every day.

Probably about the time when a whole group of people who thought it was a great idea to go there in the first place..... stop practicing the cranial rectal insertion that has existed since that time. We had an administration that launched a war on false pretenses and willingly embraced torture. This was done in the name of the American people. It takes a curious form of partisan blindness to claim that such actions had no effect on what is happening in Iraq today.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. Sorry ... had to fix that since I think that was the day MitchMcConnel and Boehner met and set their plan to oppose anything the President put forth. DanG 1 #37 March 12, 2014 QuoteSo you're saying that: 1) Those who blame Obama for everything are wrong, and; 2) Those who blame Bush for everything are right. Is that the position you want to stick with? You gotta love Speakers Corner. No one ever said that. But, what I understand you to be saying is: 1) You eat babies, and; 2) You hate puppies and old people. Is that really the position you want to stick with? - Dan G

Well why don't you clarify for us then, just to show us that you don't have a partisan double-standard when it comes to such things.
