Hell no! Congress has been retasked. Writing and passing legislation is not the goal any more. Rather, the most important job for Congress is to write Executive Orders for the President to sign!

That'd be nice. We could get better performance just by picking random people from a phone book. Maybe that should be how choose our lawmakers from now on. Just have a draft. Kind of like jury duty, but with a six digit salary. Just try to do your best and you can leave in 6 years.
