Left unsaid is who will make the decisions, how they'll coerce those who refuse to go along, and what happens to quality of life when there are more humans than available resources. What's he want, mud huts and homicide to enforce populations limits? No solutions are given other than "capitalism bad, give world control to people who agree with me."

From the piece you posted, I can tell his arguments are not logic based. I can agree with his first couple of statements. We only have one planet. We need to handle it responsibly. His jump to a communist manifesto is a huge leap of emotional tripe.

Although...I have a few minutes. I might google to see where his earth-sheltered, solar and wind powered, off the grid, self-sufficient house is. In the mold of Al Gore, people who write this stuff are too often telling others how to live without following their own dictates. Not that the rest of the world does not. I just find it interesting.

I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Accualy, much of the piece is cogent and well sorced (95 footnotes). It is mainly in its conclusion, where it go off the rails.

To think this is the dominant point of view about how the issues surrounding global climate change can be addressed is delusional.

The guy who wrote the article is an extremist.
You don't have to be one on the opposite extreme to "fight" him, because his point of view isn't ever going to be accepted.
