Have you been successful in signing up for Obamacare? Or have technical glitches prevented you? Note that I'm mainly interested in the experience of people in the 36 states without their own exchanges that are served by healthcare.gov. The other 14 states have their own exchanges and there, apparently, the experience has been better.

I was able to go on. I created an account. They want an unbelievable amount of personal information. I was not able to verify my identity.

After more than 10 phone calls and more than 9 hours on hold. I still can't get my identity confirmed and they won't give me a quote until I do.

I gave up and tried to start a different account and it didn't work either.

Useless.

And BTW - Even though you hear the illustrious President give out a 1800 numkber doesn't mean he is telling the truth.

Nope, they want my alien # for some reason (and since I'm on the road for the next month I don't have access to it right now) which is ridiculous considering I have a goddamn US passport. I'd be happy if they asked for that as proof of citizenship, but instead I (like turtle) have to provide an inordinate amount of personal information.

Quite annoying.

No. But nice biased try.

The voting registry does not use Experian, who has my information incorrect.
So the questions that were asked of me I couldn't answer because there was no way for me to know what the wrong answers were.

just because there is an inordinate amount of information doesn't mean there won't be an algorythm that would discover they were illegal and then give them coverage anyway.
