Obama's Top Priorities Good for Democratic Votes, Not for the Economy

Recommended Posts

http://godfatherpolitics.com/12942/obamas-top-priorities-good-democratic-votes-economy/"Obama seems to deny the obvious and instead of trying to fix the most critical problem facing our nation, his top three priorities are immigration, budget and the farm bill.
Number one on his agenda is immigration reform and winning over 11 million illegal voters to help Democrats win elections. His program would cost the federal government several trillion dollars that we don’t have........... " It gets worse concerning the budget. He has no real plan to cut spending....

If you want to make a point, stop posting crock bullshit opinion pieces that nobody cares enough about to refute.

There are tons of the same partisan bullshit blogs for the democratic side, these are not posted due the inherently bad quality and them not furthering discussion in any way.

This is something with a few more facts and could be basis for a discussion, a right wing circle jerk is not.

And the right wing's most important things seem to be abortion, gay marriage and undermining the President. Both of which are CERTAIN to fix the economy :S

This morning, CBS pretty much covered what the "right wing" has been saying all along about obamacare and the budget. When the liberal media starts "undermining the President, take a look. http://www.cbsnews.com/

"CBS News ran the numbers for a 48-year-old in Charlotte, N.C., ineligible for subsidies. According to HealthCare.gov, she would pay $231 a month, but the actual plan on Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina's website costs $360, more than 50 percent higher. The difference: Blue Cross and Blue Shield requests your birthday before providing more accurate estimates.

The numbers for older Americans are even more striking. A 62-year-old in Charlotte looking for the same basic plan would get a price estimate on the government website of $394. The actual price is $634."

CBS is looking a little closer at the nation's debt ceiling when they print/broadcast Warren Buffett "undermining the President".
Buffett: Debt ceiling "is a political weapon of mass destruction."

Slowly but surely, the liberal press is finding fault with the President of the United States. Wouldn't you call that "undermining the President?"

I stand by my post. There is nothing bullshit about loss of jobs over obamacare or the coming 30 hour work week for some Americans, nor the illegal immigration crisis, nor the coming farm bill. It's a tough world out there, and if you can't deal with reality, that's your problem.

Did you ever read the Constitution? You know, the document that describes the different responsibilities of the president and the Congress?

It sure doesn't seem that you did.

Good! Those are his jobs. The job of the President is not to give you a job - it's to make sure that the basics of government (like the budget) operate.

All the while you pretend that distinction doesn't exist.

But there won't be a budget if people don't have jobs to pay the taxes so that gov't can operate. Gotcha.

WOW, talk about being out of touch......

WOW, talk about not being able to count to three.

Is that a liberal thing?

Exactly where in the constitution does it talk about socialized health care? What page was that?

Where does it say that the president is responsible for a farm bill?

The article you cite is just stupid.

Did you skip the part where the budget is supposed to come from the House?

The article you cite is just stupid. I'm sure it is stupid for farm corporations that elect US Presidents. It certainly isn't for the family farmers.

"The new House and Senate farm bills are loaded with the usual subsidies, and they aren’t for the hard-working family farmers you would think of. The bills take from taxpayers to give to special interests. They intentionally restrict food supplies to drive up food prices. And what is a Christmas tree tax doing in there? This isn’t helping middle-class American families get jobs."

Example: Corporate farmers who grow corn exclusively for the production of ethanol drive up food prices.

No, I even referenced it a couple of weeks ago.:P

Seems you are blaming the president for the failings of Congress to do its job.
