Gravitymaster 0 #176 September 16, 2013 "You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension - a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into the Twilight Zone. " "There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone. "
turtlespeed 226 #177 September 16, 2013 GeorgiaDonQuoteIf the mother does not want to shoulder the full financial responsibility her deception/crime she has the options of abortion (within standard guidelines) or adoption. If the mother is guilty of rape or fraud, she may have a hard time shouldering the financial responsibility from prison. If she is not in prison, we have to wonder why? Did the male victim not press charges? Does the evidence not back up his story? As far as deception/crime is concerned, is lying about birth control a crime? If so, is saying "I'll pull out before I come" or "I won't come in your mouth", and then doing the opposite, also a crime? Should men go to jail for promising to do something, then not doing it? No method of birth control is perfect. If the guy absolutely does not want children, he has options, the least of which is to take responsibility for birth control himself. Demanding access to sex without any of the responsibility is like demanding to be able to skydive without any risk of injury or death. Such a thing does not exist in the real world. Don As I understand it, that wasn't an option 20 Years ago. From what I have been told, charges were filed, and ignored. "We cant let this case go through, it would set a precedence that the Attorney General is not willing to allow."I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

DaVinci 0 #180 October 30, 2013 QuoteThere's absolutely no difference between "I'm on the pill" and "I don't have any STDs like herpes" Lying and giving a person an STD can bring charges against the person who knew. I see little reason why lying about BC should not also be seen in the same light.
DaVinci 0 #181 October 30, 2013 QuoteHow does somebody manage to fake a prescription for somebody else and get the drugs in the first place? His father was an OBGYN. He took his Dad's script pad and forged the signature on two RX's; One for the "abortion" pill and one for the antibiotics. He then threw out the antibiotics and gave her the abortion pill. davjohns 1 #182 October 31, 2013 Seems we've been through this before. Currently: Scenario 1: Man and woman decide to have sex. Create a baby. Man doesn't want one. Woman does. Sucks to be him. Scenario 2: Man and woman decide to have sex. Create a baby. Man wants one. Woman doesn't. Sucks to be him. Scenarios 3 and 4: They both want one or both don't want one. It works out in the short term for them. Not necessarily for the baby. I'm reminded of that moment in the movie "War Games" where the computer quickly runs through Tic Tac Toe games and then nuclear war scenarios and finally declares, "The only way to win seems to be to not play". No form of birth control is 100% if you have sex. Promises of birth control are even less reliable. But it does seem the odds are stacked in the woman's favor if all else is equal. Of course, you throw in the deadbeat dad / mom option and permutations multiply rapidly.I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet.. But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.
