Seems to me that so many are so self absorbed they l have lost sight of reality. Too many folks want to be 'taken care of' and lack self reliance.

Man... I work in a 'luxury' downtown condo as head of security, and let me tell you what you say is soooo true. Some of these people could not find their own asses without paying someone to help them. I mean, don't get me wrong.. many of them are very nice people. Just.. clueless, helpless, and rather self-entitled.
My GF grew up as a refugee from Poland in a refugee camp in Italy... she learned to take care of herself quickly. I grew up a latch-key kid... raised by a single mother who was working 16 hours a day. Had to learn to take care of myself. I know people who have had similar, or even worse stories. Yet these bad stories often lead to pretty decent, self-reliant people.

Why drive myself crazy trying to be normal, when I am already at crazy?

I can really appreciate what you have said. Those 'entitlement' folks are boring. I was raised-up to depend on myself. Sure, there have been times when I've had to ask for help but never got someone to do it for me. Being raised in the country, you learn self reliance and don't count on the government or anyone else to bail you out.

You can stop right there. Put anything after the "for" and it is equally valid.

Just like "half of all registered Democrats blame Bush for..."

Even the President hasn't done anything wrong. Everything wrong is Bush's fault.

Republicans will blame democrats. Democrats will blame republicans.

Which is why the US is ready for another war. If done properly, it will turn most people from blaming the other party to chanting USA, USA, USA.

You guys need some unity to get your house in order. Divide and conquer is definitely working aganist you at the moment.
