Interesting quote from a dad in the story, but of course that doesn't mean the perps were actually -IN- The Crips. Simply that's what the dad believed.

THE Crips aren't just something three bored kids in Oklahoma belong to on a whim. I can well imagine however that in a dumb bored kid wannabe world they may have well told people they were in it.
