Why are We as a Nation Cutting Off our nose in spite of our Face.
THE GREEN SIDE knows the use of nat gas is Clean.It's our only reliable alternative to Coal Power generation now,yet they cry Fossil fuel..
It is a Good thing, we are reducing Green house gases by the Billions of Tons every year. How? Using a Fossil Fuel.

We're not. Overall our skies are cleaner - and energy is cheaper in real dollars - than it was 40 years ago.

It is definitely cleaner than coal, and is a good alternative until we have better solutions. There are some pretty serious problems with fracking - primarily water, both use of it and contamination of it. They can be solved, but it will take work and time. Fortunately since oil companies are making lots of money on natural gas we have the money available to do the work.

Right. It's not ideal, but it is progress. (And note that natural gas can be made from garbage as well - many farms now do this.)
