Why didn't Google do something for the anniversary of the Lunar Landing?

the 44th anniversary calls for what, exactly?

Same as:
Rembrandt van Rijn's 407th Birthday
Ingmar Bergman's 95th Birthday
Saturnino Herrán's 126th Birthday
Roswell's 66th Anniversary
Ukichiro Nakaya's 113th Birthday
Alhazen's 1048th Birthday

. . . and so on.

Just wondering if it has anything to do with their political stance, and leaning.

So . . . you're saying . . . WHAT?

Political stance and leaning? WTF?

Believe it or not, everything isn't about politics.

Well, I'm not so antagonistic about it. But I am curious how the lunar landing is politically charged. Turtle? Care to elaborate?
I know it just wouldnt be right to kill all the stupid people that we meet..

But do you think it would be appropriate to just remove all of the warning labels and let nature take its course.

Maybe they're planning something big for the 45th.

If that answer isn't satisfactory, why don't you just ask them?
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Its pretty obvious where they stand politically.

If you ain't there yet, then I hope your buds throw you a huge 44th birthday party - you know, what with the deep significance of, uh, the two same digits together and stuff. So yeah, what's up with Google? Pretty fucked up.

I'll accept whatever you say about their political leanings. But you will need to explain how it could possibly affect what they think about the moon landing.

They are clearly lunophobes. They've been on the opposite side of the aisle from the lunophiles since 1960.

This thread is one of the most absurd I've seen in over 10 years reading SC.

If anyone actually wrote the truth about the originator they'd be banned for 2 weeks (or more).

It was a question.

It was an interrogative.

Why would I need to explain the answer to my own question?

You don't need to do anything. However, it's quite telling that you won't.

As trolls go, it was a very poor effort.

It was indeed a piss-poor effort, but one of HIS better ones.
