If you read what he said (shouldn't be hard since he was quoted in your article) he doesn't reference racial issues when talking about SYG. In other words, he didn't say that repealing SYG would help African-Americans in particular, he said it would help everyone.

It doesn't have to be a "black/white" thing. He made it a "black/white" thing. Why was he just speaking in front of just black people? Why weren't the people of "Florida" who believe SYG is a good law allowed to participate? When does the Attorney General's racial and cultural diversity kick in?

He was speaking at the NAACP annual convention, I believe. BTW, there are white members, too.

Since the forum wasn't a SYG debate (actually it wasn't a debate at all) and his SYG comments lasted about one minute, why would the organizers invite SYG proponents?

Your guess would be wrong..... Read the report before you make uneducated comments that support a bull shit race divide.

If you count Hispanics as 'white' there are 10 cases of black shooter, white 'victim'. 2 were convicted, 4 were released and 4 are still in the system.

Black/black has 26 cases with 16 being justified.

And the data is not very good... They consider 'Nadim Yaqubie' to be a 'white guy'
