The point is that Christians today still believe that a 3000 year old book is the most important thing in their life, they claim this is where their values come from, A book that condoned the killing of innocent babies and the raping of 10 year old girls, amongst many other atrocities . They do not denounce they, they claim God has his reasons and that our minds are not capable of understand his ways. Do you think the actions of militant Muslims are worst than the actions of God's chosen ones from the OT? Do you believe that the slaughter of babies and raping of young girls is ever justified and that a religion should be based upon a God capable of doing these things?

The Egyptians were too smart to get sucked into Islam back then, but they did get suckered into following Moses when he parted the sea, and the Egyptian Army acknowledged their god wasn't giving them the right juju before they drowned.

I agree, at the moment the extremist Muslims are out of control, Iraq last week had the worst violence in years, lucky for us they are killing each other 99% of the time. I just have issues with people that can point out all the evils of Islam and yet at the same time can't admit that the killing and the raping of children, on the orders of a Judeo-Christian God, are wrong 100% of the time. When people say there may be a reason why it's proper to rape a 10 year old girl or the smashing of the head of a baby against a rock, I know why my decision not to be a believer was not a difficult one to make.

I'm not a religious person but I feel that there could be a higher power that we humans are incapable of understanding.
I try to be objective and as understanding as a human can be.
It seems to me that religion is a tool.
Just like other tools,such as hammers,guns,explosives.
Tools can be used for good deeds,or bad deeds.
A hammer can be used to build or to destroy.
Religion can be used to teach compassion and give hope,or used to teach hate and intolerance.
Jews used religion as banners for war and oppression,christians used religion in this way as well.
Muslims also have done this.
The use of religion as a banner for violence is not just left to jews,christians,and muslims,but rather to almost every religion.
For example,the natives of north,central,and south America often used religion as reason for violence and conquest.
At present islam is the greatest threat to everyone who doesn't drink the muslim koolaid.
