rushmc 23 #1 June 23, 2013 Seems many here have them already QuoteDem Strategy: Climate Change Opponents Must Be 'Ridiculed' QuoteDemocrats have a new plan for pushing climate change legislation that would severely damage the US economy: ridiculing climate change opponents. “These people have to ridiculed,” explained Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) to Netroots Nation. “They have to be run out of town rhetorically.” Dave Weigel of Slate.com helpfully reports, “If denying climate change becomes as dangerous to talk about as abortion, voila, they can start tripping up the other side. They needed to try, because nothing else worked.” Fuck em http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/06/23/Dems-climate-change-ridicule QuoteRep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) agreed with Schatz, stating, “When you make fun of people – here’s an example. In Indiana last year, a conservative candidate lost the Senate race because he said something stupid about rape.” Waxman added that Obama might take unilateral action on climate change. “He’s not running for re-election,” Waxman noted"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Maybe not so much of a slam dunk Oh, and your 97% number has been cleanly debunked But dont let that stop you"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." jakee 1,596 #8 June 24, 2013 rushmcBut maybe it would surprise you to know that many here USE these talking points and tactics Yeah, like this guy, "For nearly ten years I have tried reason, fact, and logic to educate climate alarmists on the dangers of being stupid; after viewing this [[link]] I realize my efforts have been in vain. I will no longer try to change their minds, I will just make fun of them." And this guy, "It's good that you are learning not to take them seriously anymore. Eventually, you will learn to ignore their other stupid ideas on economics and social responsibility. " You replied to that thread, and their "talking points and tactics" didn't seem to bother you. Funny that.Do you want to have an ideagasm?

So you consider those points as an atemp to degrade someone? Or it is just a comment based on frustration? Have you seen him make fun of anyone? If he does, I would put him in the same boat But for a much much different reason"America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Quote Or it is just a comment based on frustration? No, it's his SOP. Quote Have you seen him make fun of anyone? Yes. Constantly. And so have you. Quote If he does, I would put him in the same boat. lawrocket 3 #13 June 24, 2013 Quote "skinnay"]Science has long been against your views, it's not gonna get any better so you should just deal with it Note the need to ridicule the deniers. That's because the climate science community has shot itself in the foot. So when the President releases his new revenue enhancement program tomorrow, any opposition must be dealt with swiftly and harshly. Opposition will not be tolerated. So there isn't a model that shows what is going on. According to the climate models we are in a period of time that violates the laws of physics. The contrarians have succeeded in pointing out failures. That's why the strategy must change from "scientists defending the robustness of their results" to "politicians ridiculing." I've long said that climate science is an adjunct for politics. And vice versa. This is prima facie. My wife is hotter than your wife.
