In a rare instance, we agree. Bush set precedent (as is implicit in the role), Obama has run with it and set his own. It's already pretty damn scary. The really scary part is waiting to see what the next guy* does with that precedent when they get to play...

They are saying that when put in place the left cried about the wireless wire taps so, all NSA activities were put under FISA. Now, since a judge gave them the warrent, this is all legal

I don't understand all this talking about the Patriot Act. It is not mentioned in either of the articles. They are about departments of the US government including some that were around before the Patriot acting like general aviation pilots are an enemy and doing things the US constitution supposedly says they cannot do. This concerns me as a jumper, not whether Bush and the Republicns or Obama and the Democrats are the worse facists.
