champu 1 #3 May 10, 2013 Here's a text article about it for those like me who see "Video - Breaking News..." and get an uncontrollable urge to just close the window. My opinion... eh... if it had been coordinated better it would have been fine. Making it any kind of surprise was probably the dumb part.

quade 4 #5 May 11, 2013 Precisely. That said, I don't think I could really blame the "actor" because let's face it . . . probably some minimum wage popcorn seller the management talked into doing it.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

mistercwood 287 #7 May 11, 2013 Pre-Aurora - Entertaining publicity stunt with teensy potential for misunderstanding. Post-Aurora - WHERE IS YOUR GODDAMN BRAIN???!?!?!?? My favourite bit is where the manager is completely unapologetic and has the introspection abilities of a lobotomised flea. You are playing chicken with a planet - you can't dodge and planets don't blink. Act accordingly.
sfzombie13 324 #8 May 11, 2013 after reading the text article, i would have to agree with the manager, mostly. if it truly was a couple of actors surrounding a guy in an ironman costume, with an off duty cop who talked to them, then the only thing done wrong here was the actors should have de-costumed before leaving. very misleading headline._________________________________________ Si hoc legere scis nimium eruditionis habes
mistercwood 287 #9 May 11, 2013 Yeah I did read that part. I guess I assumed it would be kind of obvious to have them change on site, rather than walk around like that out of context... Bignugget 0 #10 May 12, 2013 Agree. The entertainment wasn't the issue. Having some dude walking around the parking lot and into the place in costume was a stupid oversight for sure. Really they are lucky some asshole with a real gun didn't shoot that poor worker. THAT would be a real story. "Man carrying gun to movies because he believes he can stop crazy people from doing crazy things kills minimum wage stage actor by mistake"
