Pointing out that there are issues that impact men more seriously than women is not misogynist. Wording like

There's nothing more unseemly, imo, then a man playing the victim. (which is totally sexist) It disgusts me. Sack up, already. I'm not thrilled when women do it either, but I don't have any personal embarrassment in those situations.

Continuing to speak from the non rational consciousness, I don't really feel too much for men or women that killed themselves, or attempt to do so. (but unlike you, I don't see failure to succeed as a super outcome) People should have the option to self terminate, even though it's often fed by a high level of self centered, indulgent whining.

Trying to be objective/rationale, there are real mental health disorders behind many of these suicides. I not am inclined to believe it is true for all of them, and thus would also question that this is a factor in the apparent rise in the rate this past decade, if it is due to the economy. If it instead stems from the veterans returning from war, then yes we have a problem.
