OHCHUTE 0 #51 April 14, 2013 QuoteOK, since you asked: What you did was: once again, you made shit up that was wrong because you never bothered to look it up, and you got caught at it and called out. I then predicted that, as in the past, you would probably respond to the debunking by (a) changing the subject and (b) trolling, i.e., deliberately baiting the callers-out by insulting them personally and trying to provoke them to responding in anger. You've been warned about it by the moderators; and gee, don't you think we know why you "disappeared" from here for a week? Social groups, even online ones, tend to be self-regulating. The more often a given person chronically misbehaves, the less and less tolerance the group has for him. Even some (well-respected!) people who virtually never dip their toe into Speakers Corner have done so for the purpose of calling you out on BS of yours; for example, your repeated and blatant thinly-veiled racism (in other threads). Even many of your fellow conservatives on here have openly shunned you as an embarrassment. Maybe you need to start realizing that your problem here is not other people, it's you. Again, why not just join the discussion instead of name calling. Do you know the difference between a Colt AR15 Sporter and other AR15's. MD exempts AR15 sporters, and copycat sporters, yet bans other AR15's. Do you know that an AR15 receiver is the same on all AR15's. Which accepts any size mags from 5 round to 30? If the receivers are the same, then why only is the sporter version allowed an not other AR15's. The rules have been posted but it's lacking descriptions. Please define the differences. Only then I might continue to talk to you. Your other allegations are false.

The rules have been posted but it's lacking descriptions. The only right answer is "who the hell knows what they were trying to accomplish by exempting the Colt Sporter and Sporter copycats." Maybe they were trying to exempt it for the heavier barrel, forgetting that the lower receiver has the serial number. Thus, all AR-15 OLLs could either be considered "Colt Sporter copycats" or "non Sporter AR-15 copycats" depending on premonitions of what upper/barrel might be joined with them. Or, maybe the authors really like the Colt pinned sear block because it's a hurdle to using certain FCGs or a DIAS (legally obtained or otherwise.) If you think about how focused the authors of these types of bills are on similarities to service weapons, this (pretty dumb) line of thinking seems plausible. Kennedy 0 #54 April 15, 2013 QuoteAm I mistaken, in MD, come October, will all guns classified as AR will be illegal to possess? I asked this once before, but all I've heard since are pot shots here and there. If it's not registered, yes. There is no provision (AFAIK) for future additions. If it is registered, no. That means you have to keep it until death or send it out of state, you can't sell it, trade it, or give it away. Also, see my back and forth with Andy about the troubles with keeping one passed down to you.witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
